Dunkin' launches cereal-inspired shake as part of new Fall menu

Fall is right around the corner, and with it comes a wave of tasty new drinks and food items at your favourite chain coffee spots.
The Dunkin’ faithful can get in on the post-summer action early, with its Fall menu already rolled around across the US.
Along with a returning pumpkin spice latté, Dunkin’ customers can avail themselves of some pretty innovative deliciousness.
The headline event is the Cereal n’ Milk latte, which sounds like a breakfast meal in beverage form.

As a spin on the classic Dunkalatte, it comes with Dunkin’s espresso blend and an all-new cereal milk base. According to an email sent to Food & Wine, the cereal-soaked milk drink uses whole milk for a full-bodied experience, and it’s based on a Rhode Island delicacy.
Dunkin’ said it ‘sips like a late and tastes like a melty milkshake’, so it might be worth a visit for that alone.
The new drink comes with a little 90s R&B fanfare too, with duo Brandy & Monica collaborating with Dunkin’ for the launch.
“This latte’s all about nostalgia!” said Anthony Epter, VP of menu innovation at Dunkin’.
“Remember finishing a bowl of cereal just to get those last sweet sips of milk at the bottom? That was always the best part, and it’s exactly what inspired our new Cereal N’ Milk Latte.
“Just like we did with the Dunkalatte, where we made a popular flavour into our own, our team found another way to give a classic latte a really fun twist. Dunkin’s Cereal N’ Milk Latte combines rich espresso with cereal milk made from real cereal to give our guests that delicious, marshmallow-flavoured, bottom-of-the-bowl taste in every sip.”
Brandy & Monica aren’t he only musicians to get involved with Dunkin’s new menu – a more contemporary darling is in on the action too.
Sabrina Carpenter has issued her seal of approval for three of the chain’s Refreshers drinks, namely the Strawberry Daydream, Mango Daydream, and Mixed Berry Daydream. Carpenter collaborated with Dunkin’ for the Strawberry Daydream’s launch back in June, and there’s certainly a style crossover between the star and the new beverage.
On the snack side, you can tuck into some Pumpkin Flavor Swirls, a new Iced Pumpkin Loaf, a Pumpkin Donut and Pumpkin Munchkins in the pastry section. A new donut, the Kreme Delight, is also rolling into town.
