The 2025 festive season is a mere matter of days away, and Greggs has announced exactly when it’ll get the party started with the return of the Festive Bake.
The fan-favourite hero product is officially back in business for another year, the company has confirmed.
In case you have no idea what we’re talking about, the special winter Greggs pasty, first introduced in 2009, is filled with succulent pieces of chicken, moreish sage and onion stuffing, and melt-in-the-mouth bacon.
All the components are covered in a sage and cranberry sauce - making it the ultimate on-the-go Christmas food option.

The folk at Greggs themselves said it best - Christmas doesn’t ‘really begin until you’ve had that first bite of a Festive Bake’.
If you’ve been wondering when the baked good will be back on shelves, then good news, the wait is almost over.

Excitingly, the Newcastle upon Tyne-founded chain is also set to bring back the Festive Bake’s vegan alternative, although it's returning under a new guise.

Like its meaty sister, the Vegan Lattice (Festive Edition) is a dreamy cocktail of savoury flavour Quorn mycoprotein pieces, sage & onion stuffing balls and vegan bacon.
It’s finished with a mouth-watering cranberry and red onion sauce, too.
"The Festive Bake loves to share the spotlight with its much-adored companion. Just as magnificent, just as tasty, and just as festive, the Vegan Lattice (Festive Edition) is just as back,” the company confirmed.
Both the Festive Bake and the Vegan Lattice (Festive Edition) are set to star in Greggs stores nationwide from Thursday 6 November.
